#05 Small Stoneware & Obvara Vase
A beautifully monochromatic small vase that stands 160mm high. Combining three different techniques, glazing, Obvara and smoke firing makes this truly a unique piece. It is made from white fully fired stoneware, glazed with a clear glaze at the top and finished with Obvara and smoke firing on the unglazed bottom section..

Unglazed surface sealed with Elements Air: An industrial strength nano-technology coating.
Elements Air is a natural food safe solution with anti-bacterial properties for use on any unglazed fired ceramic surface. Unlike a varnish, it does not form a film on the treated surface, but rather penetrates and saturates the ceramic material. It is a matt application and once dry forms a completely invisible layer on the surface. It is highly water repellant, oil and fat repellent and anti-bacterial. It is also alkali, acid , alcohol and chemical restistant, and has a high UV resistance as well. Please see the FAQ and T&C’s for product information.
