#06 Small Stoneware & Obvara Vase

Elements Primer is a permanent  white milky nano liquid that acts as a base coat for all the other Elements nano sealers , Elements Air and Elements Air lite. It is also recommended to be used with Elements Earth, to increase the spread rate of this varnish.  Although the Primer is a milky colour, it does not alter the colour of the ceramic surface, and is not visible after the surface is dry. It also does not alter the natural look and feel of the clay. It is used to prime the fired unglazed ceramic surface to prepare it for any one of the Elements nano products.   It saturates the unglazed fired ceramics surface much like a primer on a plastered wall before the paint is applied. It drastically reduces the porosity of the clay, and as a result the unglazed fired ceramic surface absorbs less of the expensive liquids without reducing the effect. It is recommended to use this under all the Elements sealers and varnish.

It is not recommended to use Elements Primer on its own, as it’s function is that of a primer and not a sealer or a varnish.
