One-of-a kind fully vitrified Stoneware and Obvara small vase. Like all carbon firing, the Obvara signature on every single piece is different, with every angle also displaying its own unique characteristics. This vase might be small, but it is a centre piece in its own right. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Unglazed surface sealed with Elements Air: An industrial strength nano-technology coating.
Elements Air is a natural food safe solution with anti-bacterial properties for use on any unglazed fired ceramic surface. Unlike a varnish, it does not form a film on the treated surface, but rather penetrates and saturates the ceramic material. It is a matt application and once dry forms a completely invisible layer on the surface. It is highly water repellant, oil and fat repellent and anti-bacterial. It is also alkali, acid , alcohol and chemical restistant, and has a high UV resistance as well. Please see the FAQ and T&C’s for product information.
