One-of-a kind fully vitrified Stoneware and Obvara small vase finished with smoke firing. Like all carbon firing, the Obvara signature on every single piece is different, with every angle also displaying its own unique characteristics. The small firing on the top two thirds of the vase complements the Obvara signature beautifully. monochromThis vase might be small, but it is a centre piece in its own right. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.
Small Stoneware vase with the top section unglazed and smoke fired, and the bottom section treated with Obvara.
Unglazed surface sealed with a polyurethane tile sealer.
