Elements Air

Elements Air is a natural food safe solution with anti-bacterial properties for use on any unglazed fired ceramic surface. Unlike a varnish, it does not form a film on the treated surface, but rather penetrates and saturates the ceramic material. It is a matt application and once dry forms a completely invisible layer on the surface. It is highly water repellant, oil and fat repellent and anti-bacterial. It is also alkali, acid , alcohol and chemical resistant, and has a high UV resistance as well.

Elements Air is super strong as it is an industrial grade product, unlike most of the commercial grade nano sealers available to the public.

This product is perfect for sealing any unglazed ceramics. It is particularly effective for pieces that will be used on a daily basis as crockery. Due to Air’s high strenght, it is also very effective on unglazed ceramics that are made for restaurants. Please note, If your products are made from a dark clay or the final product is a dark colour like smoke fired ceramics, or if it is made from porcelain, it will prevent staining. If your products are made from a light colour or very porous clay, and not fired at a high temperature, it is best to test the piece for staining after sealing. It can also be used to seal hairline cracks if a glaze has crazed, to make the item food safe and water proof.
